From 19 June 2026, online stores selling to EU consumers must offer a clearly identified withdrawal button — the new requirement introduced by Directive (EU) 2023/2673. Today we're proud to introduce EU Withdrawal Button & Manager, our new Shopify app that makes your store compliant with the EU right of withdrawal, from the product page to the refund.
EU Withdrawal Button & Manager: compliance built into your store
Most “returns” apps handle RMA logistics but ignore the consumer's legal right of withdrawal. This app is built around the Directive itself: the mandatory withdrawal button (Art. 11a), the acknowledgement “without delay” (Art. 11.3), the 14-day refund clock that starts when the customer notifies you, and the Article 16 exceptions — all on your native Shopify orders and refunds.
What is EU Withdrawal Button & Manager?
It's a right-of-withdrawal command center inside your Shopify admin. It adds the withdrawal button to the customer account, shows the 14-day right on every product page in each shopper's language, and tracks every request's deadline so nothing slips past the legal limit.
Everything runs where you already manage your store — no parallel system, no spreadsheets, no copy-pasting order numbers. Requests tag the native Shopify order and link straight to its refund, giving you a full audit trail.
Everything you get
The withdrawal button
A clearly identified button in the customer account and order page, available throughout the whole 14-day period (Art. 11a).
Product-page notice
The right of withdrawal and its period shown on every product page, automatically and in each shopper's language.
Deadline tracking
A live countdown per request: 14 days to withdraw and 14 days to refund, with weekends and holidays auto-extended.
Automatic acknowledgement
An acknowledgement email is sent to the customer “without delay” (Art. 11.3), and you're notified of each new request.
Product exceptions
Mark exempt products — perishable, sealed, made-to-order, started digital content (Art. 16) — or extend the period per product.
On your native orders
Each request tags the native Shopify order and links to its refund — no parallel system and a full audit trail.
Reasons & analytics
Collect withdrawal reasons and see clear analytics on volumes, deadlines and resolution times.
Multilingual, no code
Customer-facing text follows your installed store languages; the merchant admin is available in 6 languages. Set up in minutes.
How it works

1
Install & set your period
Add the theme block and the account withdrawal button, set your period (14 days by default) and link your policy.
-
2
Inform every shopper
The notice appears automatically on every product page, in each customer's language, with a link to your full policy.
-
3
Customers withdraw in one click
A shopper files a withdrawal request from their account — and gets an acknowledgement automatically.
-

You resolve on time
Track each request's countdown in the dashboard, then approve and refund on the native order within the legal deadline.
