What is the EU Omnibus Directive?
Directive (EU) 2019/2161 — the “Omnibus” directive — requires that any announcement of a price reduction also shows the lowest price applied during the 30 days before the reduction. It has applied across the EU since 2022 and carries real fines for non-compliance.
Do I have to enter the previous price myself?
No — and you shouldn't. The app records every price change automatically and computes the genuine 30-day lowest price for you. Typing a “before” price by hand is exactly what the directive treats as a misleading reference price.
What if a product has no 30-day history yet?
